Over the past few months, we’ve welcomed a number of new team members to VB-Airsuspension – a warm welcome to all! After recently attending a fun and informative introduction day, we took the opportunity to ask them: how did your start at VB-Airsuspension go? They shared with us what stood out to them, what they enjoyed or found surprising, and how they experienced their first days, weeks or months on the job.

Joran Rohaan | Junior Project Leader
“After a short introduction, I was soon able to start working on several projects. During these projects, I’ve learned a lot about the processes and products at VBA. What I find most valuable is the incredible amount of knowledge shared across different colleagues and departments. Thanks to the support and expertise of my colleagues, I was able to get off to a flying start.”

Jeffrey Gerritsen | Junior Quality Assurance Officer
“What immediately stood out to me when I joined VBA was how approachable and accessible everyone is. Even though we’re a team of around 180 people across two buildings, it really feels like one close-knit unit. My colleagues in production and logistics are literally just one door away and always easy to approach – and even the managing director’s door is always open if you need something!”

Ivo Bourgondiën | Marketing & Communication Team Leader
“From day one I felt welcome: a warm reception, a detailed tour and a fully set-up workspace ready for me. In the weeks that followed, I got to know the company culture even better: a no-nonsense, friendly, hands-on atmosphere with a strong sense of helpfulness. Within our department and beyond – everyone is willing to lend a hand. These past few months have confirmed that I made the right choice and that I’ve truly found my place here.”
