Having your motorhome checked before setting off? A wise decision. Summer is the perfect time for beautiful road trips – and that often means long journeys with a full load. A complete vehicle inspection is a must, and that includes your (air)suspension system. When travelling fully loaded or over long distances, a properly functioning (air)suspension system is essential.
What should you include in your summer check?
In addition to checking your oil, coolant levels, tyre pressure and battery, it’s also smart to have your air suspension or suspension system inspected. After all, this system plays a key role in:
- Your driving comfort – especially on bumpy roads or in crosswinds
- Your vehicle’s stability – particularly with a bike rack, scooter or full water tank
- Reducing vibrations and interior rattling noises
Important: Activate service mode via the VB-Remote
Having your air suspension system serviced or checked? Make sure to activate the service mode beforehand. You can do this using the VB-Remote – simply look for the spanner icon. This mode helps prevent any errors or issues during maintenance.
