Problem: My vehicle is lopsided

Photo: Vehicle is lopsided

An (auxiliary) air suspension system could well be the solution. If your vehicle is lopsided, this is often due to an uneven (heavy) load on the vehicle, which means that there is little or no spring travel on one side. This can lead to unsafe situations. Or: Your current suspension system is not optimised for the current condition, application or use of your vehicle.

By upgrading your vehicle with an (auxiliary) air suspension system, you can compensate for the deficiency in your current suspension system and return your vehicle to the correct ride height to ensure it is level.

This is desirable, since having your vehicle level and at the correct ride height is ideal for safety and contributes to increased safety, increased comfort, increased stability and optimal driveability.

Is your vehicle lopsided on the left-hand or right-hand side?

The first obvious piece of advice would be: Load your vehicle equally on both sides. However, this is not always possible. So, if you are looking for a solution because your vehicle is unevenly (heavily) loaded (on a permanent basis) and this simply cannot be avoided, it is actually irrelevant for the solution to know whether your vehicle is lopsided on the left-hand or right-hand side. In the event of uneven (heavy) loads on the left-hand or right-hand side of the vehicle, it is not advisable to opt for a 'permanent solution'. This means that if you experience this problem, an adjustable solution would be better. Within our product range, an auxiliary air suspension system or a full air suspension system are good options.

How is that possible? Probably unlike during the installation of your current suspension system, our (air) suspension systems (from our VB-Partners) are recommended based on the current condition, application and use of your vehicle.

My vehicle is lopsided

If your vehicle is lopsided, you may encounter the problem that it no longer responds as expected. This means one side of your vehicle is lower than the other.

Characteristics of the problem (visible, tangible or audible):
1. Visible, even at a standstill.
2. Tangible, while driving.

Possible consequences of the problem:
1. Your vehicle has little or no spring travel (on one side), at the expense of your steering and comfort.
2. Your vehicle (including its occupants and contents) will be subjected to heavy wear and tear, at the expense of its durability.
3. Your vehicle reacts differently than expected, at the expense of your safety.

This is my problem. What's the solution?
