Today is... the Day of Maximum Speed!

Functions

You might think: “What does this have to do with an air suspension system?” We’d love to explain! Because... did you know that some of our air suspension systems have certain functions that you can even activate and use while driving? Most of these functions also have a maximum speed, so still safe!

Full air suspension system | A selection of associated functions
Our full air suspension is an automatic, adjustable solution to a suspension problem where the existing leaf or coil spring suspension is replaced by a full air suspension system. This system includes air springs, shock absorbers, height sensors, a compressor and an electronic control unit: the VB-ASCU, or our VB-Remote control.

VB-FullAir 4C
This full air suspension system is located on the front and rear axles of the vehicle. The VB-FullAir 4C system comes with a luxury remote control that makes it easy to operate all the system's functions – we have an LCV variant and a motorhome variant available.

Both variants (remote control) include a number of options that can be used while driving. For example, Off Road mode, which can be switched on while driving – up to a maximum speed of approx. 30 km/h – and provides an increase of approx. 30 mm (depending on the make and type of vehicle), which creates more ground clearance. Parking mode can also be switched on while driving (up to approx. 30 km/h). Among other things, this function can lower the vehicle to the maximum level, allowing it to continue driving and make it easier to enter and exit the vehicle. In some cases, this function can lower the ride-height in order to enter a car park with a low roof or to drive under a gate.

Compared with the motorhome variant, the LCV variant has an additional function that can be used while driving: the Sport mode. This function enables the chassis to be adjusted sportily and securely by lowering it by approx. 30 mm (depending on the make and type of vehicle). There is no maximum speed for this Sport mode – of course, the maximum speed allowed in the area where you are driving your vehicle.

Compared to the LCV variant, our motorhome variant has the Ferry mode function. This function can be activated while driving (up to approx. 30 km/h) and increases the rear of the vehicle as far as possible, making it easier for the vehicle to drive onto a ferry.

The fastest way to the solution

Whether you're on your travels with a vehicle fitted with our air suspension or you regularly fit vehicles with our (air) suspension systems, you can sometimes end up with a situation that needs resolving there and then.
