Nice to meet you! Rick Nijland, our (new) Area Sales Manager Nordic

A face most of you are probably already familiar with, Rick has been happily working for VB-Airsuspension for eight years now. However, we are delighted to reintroduce him to you here, as Rick has made a well-deserved step up the career ladder!

Rick has worked for the VB-Airsuspension Group since September 2015 during which time he has held a number of positions within the company. His first role on joining the company was supporting the after-sales department. After three years, he moved to the Sales Support department where one of his main duties was to provide sales support to all the Area Sales Managers.

Following five years in this position, he stepped into the role of Area Sales Manager for the Nordic region on 1 July this year. This represents a step further on the career ladder for Rick. In his new role, he will act as the first point of contact and be responsible for the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Sweden. In addition to selling our products, his job description includes market analysis, forming and maintaining customer relationships, analysing and identifying target groups, and setting targets.

Rick will be stepping into the shoes of Sander Dusseldorp (General Sales & Marketing Manager) as he takes over responsibility for the Nordic countries. This will allow Rick to give the VB-Partners in this region the proper attention, and to help to grow the network there. One of the jobs in his inbox includes drawing up a strategic plan together with our VB-Partners and VB importers and to put this into effect in the near future, with the ultimate aim of selling more products.

All the background information Rick has been able to acquire during his years in the after-sales and sales departments will give him a head start as he takes on this new challenge. He knows the products back to front, and has been able to observe from the sidelines how our other Area Sales Managers perform their role. Rick will already be a familiar face to many, or perhaps we should say a familiar voice down the line, since he is used to being in (almost daily) contact with VB-Partners in this region.

We are delighted to welcome Rick to his new position – in a move that promises much, both for Rick and our VB-Partners in the Scandinavian countries.

Rick, veel succes – Good luck – Held og lykke – Menestys – Lykke til – Gangi þér vel – Framgång!
