We were proud to welcome our VB-Partner, Volkswagen, last month. We were excited to host the Volkswagen training day on Wednesday 29 May: a request we jumped at, of course!
An inspiring day: visit from our VB-Partner Volkswagen
Volkswagen has been rolling out a training programme for its account managers in its own dealer network for two years now. This means several training days are organised for various work integration social enterprise partners, and last month VBA was honoured to facilitate this.
In addition to providing the fully organised Volkswagen training day, we had the opportunity to contribute to the programme to familiarise the Volkswagen team with our organisation and the challenging world of (air) suspension (even more).
Instructive presentations from Volkswagen were complemented by our own company presentation by Stan Mombarg, Area Sales Manager BeNeLux – which covered all the ins and outs of VBA. WDT Services also took part with a presentation on the support it can offer to the sales consultants.
As usual, our VB-Partners were given a tour of our Logistics Centre: it was a unique opportunity to see our organisation in action for themselves.
To convey our company mission to the training day participants and allow them to experience the comfort of our products for themselves, they all had the opportunity to take a drive around our very own test track. Everyone took a test drive in a Volkswagen vehicle without air suspension and then another test drive in a Volkswagen vehicle with our air suspension.
By completing the same test drive twice, they could feel the differences between a vehicle with an original suspension and one with our air suspension: it is the perfect way to really feel the difference our products can make in terms of comfort, safety, stability and functionality. We are proud to look back on a valuable day together with Volkswagen.
