ISO 9001 – Quality Management
VB-Airsuspension is ISO 9001 certified. This means that we work according to strict quality standards and continuously strive for improvement across all our processes – from development to delivery. This ensures reliable products and consistently high quality.

VB-Airsuspension is ISO 14001 certified. This signifies that we actively work on controlling and reducing our environmental impact. In every part of our processes – from development to delivery – we take sustainability, legal requirements and continuous improvement into account.

Sustainable energy and responsible waste management
Electricity generation with solar panels
There are 600 solar panels installed on the roof of our company premises. These allow us to generate a significant portion of our own energy. In 2025, these solar panels produced 273,374 kWh of solar energy.
For comparison:
An average Dutch household consumes approximately 2,500 to 3,000 kWh per year. This means that the energy we generated in 2025 is comparable to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 90 to 110 households.
Since the installation of the solar panels, we have generated a total of 1,125,150 kWh of solar energy, according to the Autarco dashboard. This has resulted in a reduction of 301,113 kg of CO₂ emissions.
With this investment in sustainable energy, we reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and contribute to lower CO₂ emissions.
Responsible waste management
We also aim for a sustainable approach when it comes to waste processing. Through our waste partner Ter Horst/Milieuservice Nederland, the majority of our waste is reused as raw material.
Their reports show that:
- 72% of our total waste is recycled
- 28% is incinerated in waste-to-energy plants, where energy is recovered
In 2025, a total of 79,063 kg of waste was collected at our location. By carefully separating waste streams and working with specialised partners, we contribute to a circular use of materials.
Water and gas consumption
In addition to energy generation and waste management, we also monitor our water and gas consumption. By gaining insight into these flows, we can take targeted steps towards further sustainability improvements.
Water consumption
At our locations on Guldenweg and Frankenweg, we used a total of 298 m³ of water in the period from 7 January 2025 to 6 January 2026.
Water is a valuable resource. By using it consciously and optimising our processes where possible, we aim for efficient and responsible use.
Gas consumption
During the same period, we used approximately 12,600 m³ of gas across both locations.
Gas is mainly used for heating our buildings. We continuously look for opportunities to reduce this consumption, for example through more efficient energy use and future sustainability measures.
