What a celebration we can look back on!
Our two-day event for our 30th anniversary was not just a great success: it was a moment in time to celebrate our anniversary, to celebrate our successes, to take (extra) pride in our organisation and for our customers and visitors to get to know: VB-Airsuspension.
Friday 31 March 2023 was our VB-Partner Day, entirely dedicated to our VB-Partners, suppliers and business partners. They enjoyed a full-day programme at our event site with a focus on 'tasty and varied food' and 'formal and informal' activities throughout the day. We concluded the day's events at the Van der Valk hotel in Enschede where, along with all our guests, we sat down to a splendid dinner and enjoyed socialising well into the early hours.
On Saturday 1 April 2023, we threw open our doors to welcome all those with an interest in or connected to the company from the local area and beyond: to find out about the world of air suspension and to get to know our organisation. Our main location on Frankenweg (Innovation and Technology Centre) and our Logistics Centre on Guldenweg saw a large number of visitors come through the doors. It was a hugely enjoyable event with tours, information about our products, the opportunity to experience the 'technical side' of our organisation and discover the many applications our products can be used for, and check out our current vacancies across many disciplines in an informal environment. The Open Day had plenty to inspire young and old alike – including fun activities for budding engineers and young people with a technical mindset. To conclude the event in style, we invited visitors to experience the added value of our products for themselves by taking two real-life test drives on our own test track. First, we let visitors take a test drive with the original chassis on the vehicle, and then they got to experience the difference in comfort level when driving a vehicle with a full air suspension system.
In the afternoon, VBA employees got to show their family and friends around our locations on their own personal tour and to enjoy all the festive events together. Our employees and their partners brought the 30th anniversary to its conclusion in the marquee at the event site – in an evening full of music, relaxation, fun and socialising! We can only say, a good time was had by all in what was a very successful anniversary celebration. The after movie below really captures the events and the atmosphere.
