This solution is particularly suitable when maximum comfort, optimal stability and automatic ride height control are required, with minimal manual intervention during travel.
Off-road function
With the VB-FullAir 4C version, an integrated off-road function allows the vehicle to be temporarily raised by approximately 30 mm in specific situations. This creates additional ground clearance when required. The exact functionality depends on the vehicle configuration and system settings.
Auxiliary air suspension for MAN TGE 4x4
VB-SemiAir is an auxiliary air suspension system that supports the existing suspension. This solution is suitable when additional load support is required, for example with varying payloads, without fully replacing the original suspension system.
The system is available as a VB-SemiAir-basissysteem and a VB-SemiAir-comfortsysteem.
Reinforced coil springs for MAN TGE 4x4
For motorhomes with a permanent additional load, VB-CoilSpring is a suitable mechanical suspension solution. This system strengthens the existing suspension and is designed for continuous higher axle loads.
This solution is permanent and therefore not adjustable.
MAN TGE 4x4 campervan overweight? Consider uprating
Off-road campervans, such as the MAN TGE 4x4, are often heavily loaded due to conversion work, additional equipment and expedition accessories.When the vehicle exceeds its maximum permitted weight, this affects safety and means it no longer complies with legal regulations. Increasing the maximum permitted weight (uprating) is possible, but requires a technical modification to the suspension system, such as VB-FullAir.
Installing one of our air suspension systems does not automatically uprate the vehicle. However, it ensures the vehicle is technically prepared and supplied with the required documentation to support the uprating process.Please contact a VB-Partner to discuss the available options.

3. My off-road motorhome is too heavy. Can I uprate my motorhome?
Yes, in most cases this is possible. Due to conversions and additional equipment, off-road motorhomes are often subject to increased loads. If the vehicle exceeds the maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW), this affects safety and it no longer complies with legal requirements. It is possible to uprate the maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW), but this requires a modification to the suspension system, such as VB-FullAir.
Installing one of our (air) suspension systems does not automatically uprate the vehicle. However, it will be equipped with the correct system and the necessary documentation to make uprating possible. Please contact a VB-Partner to discuss the available options.
