VB-Airsuspension Australia supports specialist vehicles across the country with proven air suspension technology and local expertise.
For more than 30 years, VB-Airsuspension has developed and supplied suspension systems for light to medium-duty commercial vehicles. We focus on the vehicles between passenger cars and heavy trucks, including utes, motorhomes, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, ambulances, emergency service vehicles and other commercial applications with a gross vehicle weight of approximately 1,750 kg to 7,500 kg.
Our systems are developed and tested in Varsseveld, the Netherlands, home to VB-Airsuspension’s headquarters and Innovation & Technology Centre. This is where our engineering, product development and technical expertise come together. Our Logistics Centre manages production, purchasing and quality control, helping ensure consistency from development through to delivery.
VB-Airsuspension products have been used in Australia for more than 20 years, particularly in the wheelchair-accessible vehicle sector. As demand grew across utes, motorhomes, emergency service vehicles and other specialist applications, VB-Airsuspension Australia Pty. was established in July 2023 to provide dedicated local support.
Today, our Australian team works directly with customers, installers and partners across the country, with support also available for New Zealand where required. They bring local market knowledge to proven VB-Airsuspension technology, helping customers choose suspension solutions that suit their vehicles, applications and operating conditions.
Our mission is simple: we create the next level in vehicle dynamics. In practice, that means suspension systems designed to improve ride comfort, stability, control and everyday usability.
OUR VISION
In the 1.75 to 7.5 tonnes GVW vehicle market, we aim to be a leading advisor, developer and supplier of suspension systems for vehicle manufacturers, VB-Partners and specialist vehicle converters.
We focus on delivering the highest possible added value to vehicle manufacturers and on strengthening our position as a trusted Tier 1 supplier. Based on our knowledge and experience, VB-Airsuspension acts as the Competence Centre for the development and supply of these suspension systems worldwide.
We use our market knowledge to support our partners and strengthen our sales network, while maintaining a close connection with ''Varsseveld''.

For many years, VB-Airsuspension has worked closely with vehicle manufacturers to meet the quality, safety and performance standards expected in the automotive industry.
As a result, our products, processes and testing are shaped around strict manufacturer requirements. From design and development to testing, validation and supply, we manage the complete process ourselves.
This is one of VB-Airsuspension’s key strengths. We are not simply a parts supplier; we are a system supplier. Our role is to deliver complete suspension systems designed to integrate with the vehicle and support demanding applications, from utes and motorhomes to wheelchair-accessible vehicles and emergency service vehicles.

WE ARE AGILE AND FLEXIBLE
Always with the utmost care and attention to detail. This is down to:
- our 'lean' project management and the (relatively small) teams we work with, which means we have lower development costs than the norm in the automotive industry;
- our own VB-ASCU with our software developed in house that controls our (air) suspension systems. The fact that we develop our products in house means we can respond quickly and precisely to the specific wishes and requirements of vehicle manufacturers;
- our own test team, some of whom are based at our own test facilities.
All our systems are validated in accordance with ESC ECE R13(H), while our electronics comply with ECE R10 regulations.

DISCOVER OUR PRODUCTS
Looking at the areas highlighted in blue, we can see where VB-Airsuspension systems are sold, supplied and fitted by and with our VB-Partners with some regularity. The white dots indicate our main sites in the Netherlands and the locations of our other subsidiaries – now eight in number – in Germany, the UK, France, Italy, the US, India, Australia and Turkey. We have further plans for significant expansion in the coming years.
These subsidiaries owned by us in the 'automotive core markets’ are extremely important to us. Having a presence in these particular locations means we know what is happening in these specific markets, so that we can respond quickly and appropriately. Our VB-Partners are facilitated by our subsidiaries and branches.
In countries where we do not have subsidiaries, we work with importers who facilitate our VB-Partners in that specific country.
