We are proud to announce that we have a new subsidiary: VB-Airsuspension Australia Pty has recently joined us as the ninth subsidiary of the VB-Airsuspension Group.

Craig McCallum takes on the role of General Manager in Australia: “I am very much looking forward to putting VB-Airsuspension Australia on the map in the coming years!” Craig, who has been working in the automotive sector for some time, eagerly seized this opportunity to make VB-Airsuspension in Australia an even greater success.

In addition to running an auto-parts business and his previous work in the wheelchair market, this has led Craig to become acquainted with our products and their diverse possibilities. He discovered our products at a wheelchair vehicle converter where he was working. He then utilised his many years of motorsport background to become a specialised driving instructor – specifically for wheelchair vehicles – and he still practices this profession with great pleasure and satisfaction.

Craig, excited by our products, saw ample opportunities in Australia, as there was already demand for our kits from various corners of the country – not only in the wheelchair market but also in the camper market and the emergency vehicle market.

This heralds a whole new phase for VB-Airsuspension Australia, as VB-Airsuspension has been represented successfully for years in Australia by Capital Special Vehicles (CSV) in the wheelchair market. Frank, Dorothy, and Rob de Vries from CSV provide excellent vehicle conversions in the wheelchair market and needed VB-Airsuspension's air suspension systems to further improve their vehicles. Over the years, they have built more than 500 vehicles with the help of VB-Airsuspension’s air suspension systems within the wheelchair market. In this new phase, it was time for VB-Airsuspension to expand its operations further into various markets that need 100% focus, and this could only be achieved by setting up our own, target-group-independent subsidiary.

Since 1 July 2023, VB-Airsuspension Australia Pty. has been serving the market in Australia and New Zealand, already achieving impressive results. Craig has also collaborated with one of Australia's largest air suspension specialists, who can greatly assist us in serving the expansive Australian region. The distances in the country are unimaginably vast, resulting in a tremendous number of vehicles on the roads. This represents a unique opportunity on the journey to 'the next level in vehicle dynamics' in Australia
