The increased use of pick-ups and off-road vehicles and the many demands made on them has led VB-Airsuspension to develop a suspension system for this type of commercial vehicle too.
Many pick-ups carry heavy loads: think not only of the needs of gardeners and forest rangers, but also the use of "camper units". If a vehicle is carrying a heavy load, this will adversely affect the vehicle behaviour and stability. Equipping your vehicle with a suspension system from VB-Airsuspension therefore has some major benefits.
For example, fitting an auxiliary air suspension system raises the ride height of the vehicle to generate greater spring travel. This in turn benefits the vehicle behaviour, which allows you to enjoy greater comfort and stability, with any lop-sidedness in the vehicle corrected.
The auxiliary air suspension system can be supplied as a basic or a comfort kit.
All systems are supplied with the necessary approvals and manuals.
After the "introduction" of these systems at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2013, there were more and more enquiries regarding full air suspension systems for pick-ups and off-road vehicles.
Together with partner JS Automotive, VB-Airsuspension has developed a VB-FullAir 4C system (full air suspension for the front and rear axle) for the Land Rover Defender and the Mercedes-Benz G Class. The system provides higher levels of comfort in the vehicle and makes it possible to increase or lower the ground clearance at a specific speed.
VB-Airsuspension has also developed the VB-FullAir 2C system (full air suspension for the rear axle) for the Volkswagen Amarok. A comparable system was used on vehicles at the last two Dakar rallies, both of which crossed the finishing line without any problem. A similar system is currently being developed for the Nissan Navara. This system will be available after the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2014.
