The "ContiTech initiativ" magazine is sent to the clients and employees of ContiTech. The magazine was launched to keep clients and employees up-to-date on the latest developments.
As most of you will already know, VB-Airsuspension has been at the Dakar Rally for the past two years – not with a driver or mechanic for one of the vehicles, but with its products.
For the past two years a number of different Ginaf vehicles, including those used by the Mammoet Rallysport and Ginaf Rally Power teams, have used an enhanced version of the VB-FullAir 4C system (full air suspension on the front and rear axle). Amongst other modifications, VB-Airsuspension adjusted the control system, fitted different bellows for greater comfort and rigidity and modified the level control system.
The bellows used in this enhanced kit are manufactured by ContiTech. ContiTech supplies numerous different types of bellows for VB-Airsuspension, which is why the company followed the success of the Dakar teams fitted with our air suspension systems with great interest. Just like VB-Airsuspension, ContiTech is very proud of the fact that none of the systems failed and that they proved themselves capable of withstanding even the harshest conditions of the Dakar Rally.
One of the most important points during the Dakar Rally is having trust – trust in each other as well as the equipment – and it is precisely for this reason that VB-Airsuspension and ContiTech collaborate so intensively.
ContiTech is synonymous with excellent, high-quality products, and this is something that VB-Airsuspension also sets great store by.
As such, the April edition of the "ContiTech initiativ" magazine includes an article about the Dakar Rally and the collaboration between VB-Airsuspension and ContiTech, as well as an interview with Iginio Voorhorst (CEO of the VB-Airsuspension Group).
