Varsseveld – Last Sunday, 18th of October, in Nardo, Italy, a successful attempt was made to become the “fastest van in the world”.
The achieved speed was 310,7 Kilometer per Hour.
The TH2RS is basically a VW Transporter “Bully”, model 2010, with an 800bhp / 900Nm Porsche 9FF engine in the back of the vehicle and an F1-style central driver seat in the front.
The “Bullet” has been equipped with a specially designed VB-FullAir-4C Extreme Sport air-suspension utilising VB-Airsuspension’s latest feature, the VB-SDLS (Speed Dependant Levelling System).
With this system the vehicle is able to adapt and become more and more aerodynamic as the speed increases.
A joint-partnership between several specialist companies, like VB-Airsuspension and TH-Automobile, has made this World Record possible.
