Dimensionwork for Renault Kangoo WAV

VB-Airsuspension has signed an agreement with Renault, to supply air-suspension for the new Renault Kangoo, for the WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles) market.

In addition to providing the air-suspension for the rear axle, which improves both ride-comfort and stability,
VB-Airsuspension provides the electronics for operating the tail-gate, the fold-out ramp and the wheelchair-locking mechanism.

By pressing one button on the remote control, everything will be arranged automatically, thereby reducing the ergonomic compromises that wheelchair users are often faced with. Once the wheelchair is locked in position, the rest is done automatically. Because of this, both the driver and the wheelchair user can be assured that everything is safely secured. Furthermore the unpleasant hydraulic and mechanical noises associated with out-dated kneeling systems are completely removed, because everything is electrically controlled.

In this instance, VB-Airsuspension has looked further than only the rear axle, by studying the whole ergonomic process of entering and leaving the vehicle, to find the most complete solution for the vehicle user.
