2010 has seen VB-UK continue to build on its strong performance in 2009 and, as a result, we have expanded our main UK warehouse & office facility and launched a brand-new website to cope with the increased levels of demand we have seen over the past couple of years.

In addition, I am pleased to welcome Ian Taylorson onto the team, as our new Service Manager. I hope you find this newsletter interesting and I look forward to catching up with you in the near future. Expanded UK Premises

As of 1st August, VB-UK will be fully up and running in its new, expanded warehouse and offices. Since occupying new premises, in Blackburn, in 2008, the steadily increasing levels of business require extra space to cope with the growing range and volume of product that we are providing for the UK & Irish markets.

We are still in the same location, and all contact details remain the same, but we have doubled the space of the warehouse and offices and are developing a special training area, so that we can offer specific training modules for
VB-Customers, VB-Dealers, VB-Installers and VB-Servicepoints.

VB-Airsuspension for New Renault Master / Vauxhall Movano X62

Over the past couple of years, VB-Airsuspension has been working closely with Renault to develop a complete rear air-suspension ready for the launch of the new Renault Master / Vauxhall Movano X62 models.

The previous (X70) model had air-suspension available ex-factory, but the new kit is available as an aftermarket fitment direct from VB-UK (initially), for both models, from week 25 (21st June) 2010, to provide for those Master / Movano customers who have an immediate requirement for
air-suspension.

We have developed both 2-Corner and 4-Corner air-suspensions for the complete range, as well as SemiAir kits and upgraded CoilSpring kits. If you would like to find out more, please contact Oliver Drinkwater on 01254 848010.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Taylorson, as Service Manager for VB-UK. Ian has more than 25 years experience in the specialist field of chassis engineering, having started out as a mechanic, and has worked closely with a wide range of vehicle bodybuilders/converters and large fleet customers such as Royal Mail, Marks & Spencer and BT, giving him a strong understanding of their operational requirements. Until recently, Ian worked for one of the UK’s leading ambulance and fire appliance manufacturers, overseeing the production, engineering and aftersales operations of the business.

A large part of Ian’s role will be to provide technical support and training to customers, but he will also be responsible for further developing the VB-network throughout the UK and Ireland. We currently have 26 Servicepoints and 7 independent Fitting Centres, but are looking to refine and develop the network to ensure we have better coverage in all areas.

Due to the annual shutdown, the factory in Holland will be closed in weeks 29, 30 and 31. VB-UK will stay open during this period, but please be aware of the following:

* Orders for VB-FullAir and VB-NivoAir systems (up to a maximum of 5 systems per order) received upto Friday 9th July (week 27), before 12.00 hours, will be dispatched in week 28. Orders received in week 28, 29, 30 and 31 will be despatched from week 32.

* Orders for VB-SemiAir/VB-CoilAir kits (only if they are in stock) can be supplied normally;
 

Please bear in mind that if kits aren’t in stock, the delivery time can be somewhat longer than usual.

On Monday 9th August, the team in Holland will be back and we will be able to give you our normal service again.
